My Studio
My musical studio consists of an Athlon, 64-bit-based PC, a Dell Dimension and an Apple G4 Tower for the editing software and mixing software. The centerpiece of the studio is the Mackie 1402-VLZ Pro 14-Channel Mixer, which routes audio from a Korg Trinity Plus Music Workstation, a classic Yamaha DX-7 keyboard, two professional microphones and a Peavey T60 electric guitar. My software of choice is Cubase SX 3.0, SoundForge, Acid Pro, WaveLab, Reason, GigaSampler, ReBirth, Cakewalk Pro Audio and Sonar, coupled with professional sound libraries like the EWQL Platinum and Platinum XP series.

My Motivations
No single musical genre defines me or my music, and I draw from classical to hip-hop, from techno to jazz. I will be adding more music as I complete it, with my current focus on big-sounding, classical scores that could be used in a movie or in a game. One can only hope and dream.

MP3 Collection
My collection now spans 220 + GB of harddrive space, and encompasses over 40,000 songs, streamed at home via 2 D-Link streaming devices, which reside in my Home Theater racks. Click here to check out some of my collection in PDF format!

Music
My music work has fallen off, as I balance my cfamily and career, but I still try to work on some new pieces and projects. I have been focused the past few years on gaming music and developing new arrangements, most of which can be found on this site in their respective project pages. I hope to add more soon.

Music Navigation:

Back in 2004, I completed building a website for the very popular Louisville-based R&B cover band, V-Groove. The web presence reflects the flavor of the band and will be a solid resource for fans of this outstanding local band, and potential venues looking to book talent of this caliber in the greater Louisville area. If you are on this page, you obviously are interested in music...and if you like really good live bands, check out the V-Groove website and listen to some clips of what they do! Now! Thanks! ;)

The Duke Nukem 3D Music Project Is Completed, to include the 12 tracks from the Atomic Edition - Click Here To Go There Now!

Lee Jackson and Robert C. Prince III (Bobby Prince) wrote the now-beloved music to the Duke Nukem 3D game in 1994 and 1995. The main theme song, "Grabbag", is a "I can name that tune in three notes" kind of song, and gamers still love it. With the advent of high quality musical scores via MP3 or OGG, or some proprietary format, modern gamers are now accustomed to hearing music that is big and robust. The original Duke Nukem 3D music was in MIDI format only, and it did not age well. As a result, I made the decision to create new and improved arrangements of all the Duke Nukem 3D music, and with new ports of the now open-source code to Duke Nukem 3D, my music can now be used in the game itself!

Original "Whomp!" Arrangement Available!
The version of Whomp! that I have provided to date was actually based upon a pre-release version. The actual in-game version has now been re-arranged, utilizing my new and improved professional sound libraries. Click Here to Check Out the New and Improved Whomp! or Here for the OGG Version! (Be Sure To Rename The OGG Version to Whomp.OGG for use in any ports!)

The Blood Music Project Is Completed as of 04/20/2004, that includes the 12 original tracks from the haunting PC game and three unused tracks from an Alpha version - Click Here To Go There Now!

Many composers worked on the twelve music tracks for this dark and disturbing game, including Guy Whitmore, James Ackley, Daniel Bernstein, Peter Freese, Jason Hall, Cassano Thruston, Steve Bryant, Mike Cody, Doug Fullington, and Vernon Nicodemous. Originally released as a GT Interactive game, the Blood franchise is now owned by Monolith Productions.
